Spotlight Kindness Students of the Week
Kindness begins with me…
That simple sentiment is exactly the belief that we are cultivating here at Desert View Elementary School. We are continuing our “Be the I in KIND” initiative this year.
Throughout this year, one student from each grade level will be chosen by their grade level teachers to be the “Spotlight Kindness Student of the Week” during every six day rotation. The team of teachers will provide school counselor, Ms. Carson, and principal, Mrs. Blake, with three statements about the student that illustrates exactly why the student excels in the area of being kind. Students will be honored by having their nominations read over the intercom for the whole school to celebrate. They will also get their photo taken in front of the “Be the I in KIND” bulletin board and have that photo displayed for all to see on the monitor by the office and on Desert View’s Facebook page.
Please encourage your students to practice kindness every day and to always believe in the power they have to influence the world.
We aspire to make kindness everyone's first thought when they hear the phrase "Desert View Mustang."

La bondad comienza conmigo ...
Ese simple sentimiento es exactamente la creencia que estamos cultivando aquí en la Escuela Primaria Desert View. Continuamos con nuestra iniciativa “Sé el yo en especie” este año.
A lo largo de este año, un estudiante de cada nivel de grado será elegido por sus maestros de nivel de grado para ser el “Estudiante de la semana de la amabilidad destacada” durante cada rotación de seis días. El equipo de maestros proporcionará a la consejera escolar, la Sra. Carson, y la directora, la Sra. Blake, tres declaraciones sobre el estudiante que ilustran exactamente por qué el estudiante sobresale en el área de ser amable. Los estudiantes serán honrados al leer sus nominaciones por el intercomunicador para que toda la escuela las celebre. También se tomarán una foto frente al tablero de anuncios "Be the I in KIND" y mostrarán esa foto para que todos la vean en el monitor de la oficina y en la página de Facebook de Desert View.
Anime a sus estudiantes a practicar la bondad todos los días y a creer siempre en el poder que tienen para influir en el mundo.
Aspiramos a que la amabilidad sea el primer pensamiento de todos cuando escuchen la frase "Desert View Mustang".
